CREDITS/IMDB BIOGRAHY Asif Ahmed is an independent filmmaker/television producer from Pasadena, Calif. Four episodes of Ahmed's original TV series concept, "Sonny Days," were selected to air on Los Angeles' Creative Learning Channel, all of which he wrote, produced and directed. The series has received significant press coverage, and a UK based satellite company is pursuing distribution. Ahmed was subsequently selected to direct the pilot for Recovery Net TV, hosted by radio personality Bill Attebery. This socially themed talk show discusses the process of recovery with entertaining insight from comedians and musicians. The Healthy Living Channel aired this series nationally.  Ahmed then produced four episodes of "LA Special“ for LA’s Creative Learning Channel. “LA Special” also created by Ahmed is designed to be the Los Angeles-version of “Saturday Night Live”, spotlighting independent writers, directors and artists in Los Angeles with a commitment to diversity. Besides his numerous years of production and post production experience, Ahmed has written several screenplays, his action/thriller script, "The Interchange," was optioned by Quantum Entertainment. Ahmed’s latest project the BEAST made the rounds at AFM. The trailer has been streaming at IFILM.com receiving great ratings. Ahmed received a film studies degree from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He produced his first TV show at age 10 and has been making films ever since.
