BIOGRAPHY 

Mae Nekoba, a filmmaker originally from Okinawa, Japan, began her journey into Entertainment at the age of 10 when she started performing on stage. Her interest to explore behind the camera occurred after the arrival of the family’s first VHS camcorder. She continued this interest throughout high school and at the University of Arizona where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Media Arts. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, she quickly began working as a 2nd Assistant Director and Pre-production Supervisor for several Independent Productions. This experience eventually led her to explore other areas as a Production Coordinator for "Whacked Out Sports" and Locations Liaison for various Television and Commercial Productions.

Mae now serves as the Director of Operations as well as a Producer for Reel Energy Entertainment. She currently is at work in Post Production on “Lost Dream” as well as Pre-Production on "Beast". In addition to her film endeavors, she is also in the process of obtaining her RN license.
