Press Release: LOST DREAM ENDS PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY To: All Media May 31, 2007 – Principal photography ends on "Lost Dream," the first full-length feature written and directed by Asif Ahmed. A New Jersey native, Ahmed created his first TV venture at age 10 for his local public access station and has been involved in all aspects of film and TV production ever since, primarily for the Los Angeles Creative Learning Channel, Recovery.net TV and PBS. Lost Dream" is the story of a disillusioned college student, the son of a powerful politician, who is drawn to a suicidal art student and his ritualistic game of Russian roulette. Principal photography began in Los Angeles at United Pacific Studios on May 12th 2007. "Lost Dream" is produced by Craig Hall with Executive Producer Peer J. Oppenheimer; Mr. Oppenheimer's producing credits include "Blue Car," an official Sundance selection starring David Strathairn and Agnes Bruckner, written and directed by first-time director Karen Moncrieff (acquired by Miramax in 2002), "Eye of the Dolphin," which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2007, starring Carly Schroeder (whose latest film, "Gracie," opens June 1, 2007), and "Rails and Ties," for Warner Independent Pictures starring Kevin Bacon, Marcia Gay Harden and Miles Heizer, directed by debuting director Alison Eastwood (currently in post-production). Craig Hall's first feature, "Dreamers," received critical acclaim at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in 1998. His other credits include "Shut Up and Shoot," starring Gary Busey and Tom Sizemore and "Bad Guys," starring Kate Del Castillo, Art LaFleur, and Antonio Vargas. Mae Nekoba also serves as Producer. "Lost Dream"'s Executive Producers are Collin Olympius and Jake Wachtel. Tim Cogshell (Bad Guys) serves as co-producer. Associate Producer Sergio A. Herrera. The Director of photography for "Lost Dream" is Alison Kelly, whose credits include many award-winning films including "Make a Wish," "Hummer" and "Fourteen," all of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. "Lost Dream" stars Michael Welch ("United States of Leland," "My Suicide," "Choose Conner," "Start Trek: Insurrection"), Shaun Sipos ("The Grudge 2," "Final Destination 2"), Sarah Foret ("Karla"), Jeremy London ("Mallrats," "Party of Five," "Seventh Heaven"), Katie Stuart ("Girl Next Door," "Wild Things 2"), Aisha Hinds ("Assault on Precinct 13"), Leonard Wu ("Finishing the Game"), Patricia Richardson ("Ulee's Gold," "Strong Medicine" and "Home Improvement"), and veteran actor Joseph Campanella.
